Book condition: good, very scarce 1875 publication, includes biographical sketches of its filed and staff officers and a complete record of each officer and enlisted man, features 70 steel portrait engravings and wood cuts with frontis of Henry R. Guss, follows the movement of the regiment through areas such as Florida, Virginia and South Carolina, red cloth boards feature gilt trim surrounding the regiment's insignia and show fading to front and spine with two large dark stains to back, corners bumped and scuffed, .5" chip off spine tail, smaller chips off spine and spine head, 2" tear to spine top right, front hinge cracked with play, one inch square of finish off front pastedown, small piece of back endpaper glued to back pastedown with tear at spot, interior very clean, 608 pages with index, 7.25 by 11 inches.
