3 vols. (pub'd 1949, 1950 & 1951) Grey printed wraps. pp. vii (1); 135; x, 131 (2); ix, 100 (3) - 366 pp. & 1321 well annotated catalog entries in total - nearly all of which are now in museum collections! Lapped wrapper edges show wear, tanning, minor chipping; spines evenly yellowed; vol. 3 shows neat ink-stamp to fr. wrap, "The Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society Library"; fr. wrap of vols 1 & 2 state, "Rosenbach" in neat pencil; generally a well preserved copy of a great work of bibliopolia! A rare original of this famously exhaustive Americana catalog from America's most (in)famous bookseller: purveying original documents, from the Bernaldez Codex of Columbus's voyages (the 1508 ms. copy) offered at $48,000 in 1949 to FDR's 1936 letter to Brig. Gen. F.T. Hines, thanking him for birthday greetings, offered at the price of 2 movie tickets today! Size: 7.5" x 11". N° de ref. de la librería 001241
