Second French edition hardback, 1840, with marbled boards and brown leather spine. In overall very good used condition with only minor signs of age, handling and storage - rubbing to edges. Binding tight and appears little read. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions - small library stamp to reverse of title page (Stadbibliotek, Dresden), no other library markings; toning to page-ends but text (French) and illustrations bright and clear throughout.
