A Very Good, full leather binding with gilt lettering and gilt ornate design on spine, leather is dry, specked text block edge, top text block edge dusty, moderate rub marks to boards and spine, rubbing along board and spine edges and joints, cracked hinges but boards still attached, binding fragile and delicate, abrasions to board corners, previous owner bookplate affirmed to both Volumes on front pastedown else unmarked, marbled endpapers/pastedowns, some age spotting throughout, moisture stains top and bottom text block edge Volume 1 and partially on top and bottom page edges, gilt dentelles along board edges.
