Tan cloth covered boards with color picture of plate pasted on the front and black lettering on spine. Light bumping to edges of covers, and light overall scuffing, aging and soiling to covers as well. Binding tight. Last page has some tearing along the spine but is still intact. Previous owner's name and date on front free end paper in ink. Otherwise pages are lightly aged but unmarked. NOT Ex-library. NO remainder marks. Black and white and color illustrations. Gyozo Sikota (1922 - 2011) was a Hungarian ceramic artist, designer, and writer. Born in Budapest, Hungary, Sikota received a degree in ceramics in 1952 and worked as a teacher and later became the artistic director of the Fine Ceramics Industry Works. Sikota was a prolific artist, and his work has been exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions in Hungary and abroad. He is best known for his porcelain designs, which are characterized by their delicate beauty and intricate detail. He also wrote several books on the history of Hungarian ceramics, including, The Art of Herend Porcelain, Hollohazi Porcelain, and Herend Porcelain. N° de ref. del artículo 20230629006
