Acerca de

Many good books have been written about World War II battles and politics, but now 90 year old Dave Walling has written "Harvard MBA Navigates World War II", with a different slant. Soon after graduating from Harvard Business School in 1940, he enlisted in Aviation Cadets, then navigated a C-47 (similar to a DC3 airliner) plane across the south Atlantic to Africa and England. Dave continued his navigation in the Army Air Corps with a succession of lively personal and military experiences, even some romances, through England, France, Italy, Germany and Greece. Some were in combat with 22 missions, many are funny, varied unexpected adventures, written with a dry sense of humor. Dave has described for you his inside story of everyday life in the Air Corps, personal, often unusual, compared to our civilian lives. This had to have a long-range effect on most World War II men who served overseas, when we returned to "civilization".
