This is an original, complete issue of 20 pages (includes Supplement) dated November 28, 1874 -- Vol. 18, No. 935 -- Illustrated with wood cut engravings -- Covers are tight, very light moisture stain on top and bottom edge of first page, small repaired tear on page 988, otherwise nice condition -- The Front Cover has a full page engraving by Thomas Nast titled "The 'Funny' Little Boy In Trouble" (The N. Y. Herald, Minerva, The Book of Wisdom, Common Sense, political cartoon) -- Page 972 has a full page engraving by W. L. Sheppard titled "The Last Apple" -- Pages 976 & 977 have a double page centerfold engraving by Durand titled "Religious Festival At Tangier--Anniversary Of The Birth Of Mohammed" -- Page 980 has a full page engraving titled "The Preserving Tanks At The Fish-Market, Berlin, Prussia" -- Page 981 has three portrait engravings, titled as follows: "The Rev. W. H. Milburn", "The Hon. William Gaston, Governor Elect Of Massachusetts", and "The Hon. Joseph D. Bedle, Governor Elect Of New Jersey" -- Pages 986 & 987 have a double page engraving titled "A Highland Reel At Abergeldie" -- This issue contains a portion of the following serials: "The Law And The Lady" by Wilkie Collins, Chapters XV & XVI, with illustration, and "A Strange World" by Miss Braddon, Chapter XLVIII -- Many articles related to these engravings and other events occurring at the time, as well as very interesting advertising -- We store and ship each Harper's Weekly issue in a large zip lock plastic sleeve with a board insert for stiffness.
