Gilt-decorated brown cloth. Large, thick octavo. 509pp. Tan printed dust jacket. Later printing (January, 1912). Illustrated. Folding maps. In this volume the author has presented the whole history of Broadway, old and new: its historical associations from pre-Revolutionary times to the present, its theatres and the actors that made them famous, its literary incidents and personalities, and all the other varied activities that have contributed to the fame of this great highway. The book is illustrated with 6 folding historical maps of New York and numerous vintage photographs. An extremely bright copy with some light spotting to the cloth and a small crease to the lower spine. The text is very good with some light tanning. The jacket is worn with some soiling and chipping. The spine is browned and the front panel is detached from the spine. Uncommon in the jacket. N° de ref. de la librería 7538
