Translation by Bernard Arens. 8vo. Brown cloth with gilt lettering, black decorations and oval pictorial plate on front board. 97pp. Tissue-guarded frontispiece, 5 called-for full-page plates, decorative endpapers and page edges. Very good. Faintest hint of edgewear. A tight and handsome first of this translation ("Translated into the new high German language and provided with a preface") of the epic poem by the 13th century German epic poet (1220/30-1287) by the Luxemburg Catholic theologian and writer (1873-1954). Title translation: "Golden Wrought. A Hymn to the Virgin Mary." A bright, superb copy. Entirely in German. N° de ref. de la librería 40225
