Descripción

8vo. 176 pages. 32 page publisher's list. Full leather, raised bands, gilt. The re- binding, executed in India, is solid but unprepossessing (as is often the case in my experience) The binder, inscrutably, has bound in the leaf containing part of the preface and the table of contents, up-side-down, between pages 128 and 129. Nothing appears to be missing apart from the mentioned map. The text is browned and in places brittle - the corners of a few pages have broken off. The scarcity of the book makes up for its unsatisfactory condition. N° de ref. de la librería 01119

Descripción de la librería

Leakey¿s Bookshop was established in 1979 and has been housed for the last 19 years in the old Gaelic Church (1793). It is Scotland¿s largest secondhand bookshop with 100,000 selected volumes. We have been actively buying books throughout the Highlands for well over 30 years ¿ buying that has been immensely exciting and fruitful. There is an excellent cafe within the building serving home cooked food and the wood burning fire that heats the shop has filled many customers with amazement and some with dread. If you come to Inverness, Leakey¿s will be one of the highlights of your visit.
