A wonderfully extravagant production which is profusely illustrated with photographs of the great and the good of Glasgow buildings and people. The full vellum binding is a little bit marked and the paper onlay is missing a few small pieces here and there. The boards are slightly warped outwards. Foxing to endpapers. Size: Quarto. Book has decorated vellum covers with some damage to spine and soiling to boards. Some page edges gilt. Foxing to endpapers. Light rubbing to some pages, some pages are a bit soiled and have mild tears to edges, no loss. Stamp of a Glasgow architectect's office to bottom of front pastedown and FFEP.
