The Borough of Etobicoke (now part of the city of Toronto) commissioned the book as a centennial project. It contains original drawings featuring historical figures from Canada's past and reproductions of front pages of various Canadian newspapers chronicling historical moments in the nation's history including: death of Queen Victoria; Armistice in 1918; Dionne quintuplets' birth; Halifax harbour explosion; tribute to Governor General George Vanier; among others. Dark brown cover with golden tassel adornment in upper left. Some bumping and edgewear but otherwise in good shape.
