The Four Seasons In Japan Album Of Color Photographs. I don't read Japanese so I'm limited in terms of what I can tell you about the contents of the book. I can't even see who published it. There are 297 numbered pages (left to right) followed by 2 pages of maps and then 2 pages of pictures and descriptions (in Japanese) of 34 people who most likely are the artist photographers whose work we are seeing. Then from left to right we have ten pages in roman numerals titled List Of Plates in which each photograph is briefly described in English and the artist is identified. The plates proceed through the seasons beginning in Spring. There are 218 plates in total. VG+ in a a VG+ simply designed box. This is an extremely well-produced large book that has resided in a comfortable protective box during it's lifetime. What that means here is that the covers of the book have no wear. Not the corners or the spine ends. And, also, that they are not faded as is usually the case with the cloth covers of art books. That is, of course, true for the pages as well. They are Not sunned/yellowed at the margins. The pages look fantastic. The pictures are truly beautiful. Some of them have tissue guards. Most do not. I don't know whether that was the case originally or not. But, the guards seem unnecessary. All the pages with photographs look terrific. A few may have a tiny imperfection of one sort or another. The reason for the VG+ is because of two flaws: a horizontal 7" by 1/4" scrape on a white blank end paper that has lifted off a little of the paper, and a couple of small light spots of dust soiling on a title page and a black end paper. The box which is rated VG+ is, like the the covers of the book, not worn and not soiled. It does have one flaw: fading of the color mainly at the top of the front and back, with a little at the sides. You should be able to see it in a photo. Admittedly, trying to scan a book and box this large is a bit absurd, but I'll try my best to get you an idea of how it looks. Check out the photographs, I may not know the artists names but I can see their talent. N° de ref. de la librería 000124

Descripción de la librería

Many of the books I will be selling can accurately be described as ranging from somewhat rare to very rare. In some cases there won't be another copy for sale anywhere on the Internet. There doesn't seem much point, for you or me, in offering something that so many others are already offering. Subject matter will range very widely, creating the possibility for people with very different interests to find something that excites them. As regards pricing, my primary goal is to sell the book. Most often I would expect my book to be the least expensive option on the Internet taking into account an appropriate comparison(what is the condition, is the dust jacket present, is the book signed, is it a first printing, etc.). More important than selling the book I want to make sure that you know, as much as is possible, exactly what you are getting. To that end, you'll notice that my descriptions of condition tend to be lengthy, and that there will always be photographs to help you draw your own conclusions. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about a given book. As regards international shipping, the first class or standard rates I charge are based on a package weight between 2 and 3 pounds. If the book is on the thin side there is a possibility that I can securely pack it up under 2 pounds in weight. If so, the shipping price will drop between $9 to $11. I think, for example, Europe drops to $24.00 and Canada to $15.00. You can contact me before purchasing a book for an estimate on the shipping cost. If you buy the book and it weighs in below 2 pounds you'll get a Reduced Shipping message and amount with the invoice and you'll see the lowered final cost before you make your payment. For international shipping I charge you what I am charged.
