Descripción

Original cloth-backed boards. Near Fine, in near fine dust jacket (price-clipped). Inscribed on half-title: 'for Henry/from Pete/and all best from/John McPhee'. The full inscription is in McPhee's hand, so perhaps he is presenting this copy to one 'Henry' on one 'Pete's' behalf. Some copies are signed on a bookplate affixed to the half-title, but this inscription is on the half-title. McPhee's 26th book. N° de ref. de la librería 21323

Book by McPhee John

Críticas:

"McPhee reaffirms his stature as a bold American original. His prose is rugged, straightforward and unassuming, and can be just as witty. This book sings like anglers' lines cast on the water. It runs with the wisdom of ocean-going shad."
