Pictorial jacket in black, white & red. Light rubbing to spine panel with loss to one letter in title; mild evidence of thumbing; still an ideal copy of this rarity. Typically these gag items are ill-fitted to the 'host' book (one size not fitting all): they are intended on one hand to hide smut novels or sex manuals from prudish visitors, children & suspicious spouses, and conversely to amuse "adult" (male) friends or titilate the "fairer" sex; the commonest result being significant damage to the jacket: pulling at folds, multiple tears & loss to the spine panel. Our copy has endured none of these problems. Not suprisingly the jacket in this case obscures a classic treatise on the sexual life of women in India. Size: "Gag" Jacket.
