With Two tipped-in letters 1) Dated 1860, Signed by Nancy A, W. Priest, a New Hampshire Poet (1847 ?-1870). 2) Signed by C. C. Felton, Cornelius Conway Felton (1807-1862), an American educator, Regent of the Smithsonian Institution, Professor of Greek Literature and President of Harvard University. Dated 1860, the letter discusses a book that Felton presented to His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, on behalf of H. O. Houghton (Publisher). xxxi, [3], 466pp, printed on fine glossy paper, bound in blind stamped, decorative leather, raised bands on spine, all edges gilt, inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, illustrated throughout.
