My Flower Garden Book
No date stated (circa 1930's - 1940's). Color-illustrated paper over boards with metal ring binding (bound at top). 8 pages of heavy stock with color illustrations. A neat children's book which tells how to plant a flower garden, written in a fun story form. The first page shows two children, Bobby and Betty with their dog, standing under a trellis, contemplating planting a garden. This page has an easel backing to make it stand upright. The other pages are illustrated with different kinds of flowers, and cut at different heights so that when each is laid upon the next, a beautiful flower garden is formed. There are packets of Vaughan's flower seeds pasted to the back side of 5 of the pages (seeds for the flowers shown on each page): Marigolds, Zinnias, Larkspur, Asters, and Petunias. The front coer has some soiling along one edge, and some chipping along the same edge, a little chipping to edges between the metal rings. Otherwise in excellent condition. Clean, tight and bright. All seed packets still sealed. Pages crisp, clean and bright. N° de ref. de la librería 12698
