WITH LETTERPRESS DESCRIPTION AND TWO HUNDRED & TWNETY-FIVE ILLUSTRATIONS. " no published but around late 1880s; 128pp; small brown cloth pictured boards 4-1/2x 6in. There are 125 illustrations but they are grouped together on 29 illustrated pages (example: first page has 6 illustrated birds, the second page with 3 birds and etc. for 29 of the illustrated pages) On the top of the pictorial cloth boards it reads: "NATURAL NURSRY LIBRARY.Natural History. FISH, INSECTS &c".and at the bottom it it reads: "With Coloured Ilustrations and Letterpress Descriptions". inside board has a bookplate inscribed as follows: "Moulin School Board: Awarded to Helen Ann Finlay, For Deiligience & Progress . During session 1891-92. Alex Robertson. Head Master. 30th June, 1892". CONDITION: original boards & spine have rubbing but still you can see the front board's illustration, all plates are present and still have their bright coloring, most of the plates have some rubbing; most of the text pages have some browning, a few with tiny tears and a little foxing, just a few of the text pages are loose; mising just the text page 63/64 (describing Great Weaver, Sprat, Smelt, and Minnow but the plate is present), book is still tight; otherwise in GOOD COND.
