Acerca de

Category/Audience. Biblical historical fiction for teens and adults.

Time Period. This series covers nearly one thousand years of early Biblical history, ending just before the Flood.

Concept. Set in the time before the Flood, these novels trace the lives of Enoch, Methuselah, and Noah as they overcome, through faith in God, the same problems facing families today.

Summary of The First Prophet: In another showdown at the City of Gom, Enoch defeats Arphaxad and takes the wounded thug home to nurse him back to health. When Arphaxad is converted, Enoch and his new friend begin to travel and preach. The book concludes with a thrilling showdown at the Temple of Gom, where Enoch defeats the wicked forces of Cain and his priestess Zaava.

About the Author:

Legal Background. Christian Attorney Terry Lee Hamilton, who has been practicing law for over twenty-five years, was a trial attorney with the U.S. government in Washington, DC, from 1977 to 1984. Since 1984, he has specialized in legal cases involving separation of church and state. In 1995, Attorney Hamilton founded Lighthouse Legal Ministries, dedicated to preserving constitutional liberties of Bible-believing Christians throughout America.

Christian Background. Terry was saved in Washington, DC, on July 20, 1975 at the age of twenty-six during his last year of law school. His wife Jan was saved one week later. They are active members of Lighthouse Baptist Church, Ashtabula, OH, where Terry is the director of Junior Church, an adult Sunday School teacher, and church trustee.

Family Background. Terry and Jan were married in Albany, Georgia, in 1973, and now reside in Ashtabula, Ohio. Since their salvation in 1975, they have served the Lord together and raised three wonderful children: (1) Joy and her husband, Casey King, live in Little Suamico, Wisconsin, where they assist Terry in producing his musicals, books, and Junior Church curriculum; (2) Daniel and his wife Jessica live in Geneva, Ohio, where Daniel is in law school and works with his wife Jessica in the distribution of Terry’s literary endeavors; and (3) Glory, killed in a tragic car accident in 1998, lives in Heaven.

Music Ministry. Although Terry has no musical training, the Lord started giving Terry lyrics and melodies to songs after his salvation. Terry has written over 350 songs (hymns, scripture songs, and children’s songs), produced four Boot the Mule music adventure tapes for children, and several musicals for the local church.

Writing Ministry. Terry has started several series of Christian novels aimed at teenagers and adults, including the seven-book series of historical novels entitled The Methuselah Chronicles. Set in the time before the Flood, these novels trace the lives of Enoch, Methuselah, and Noah as they overcome, through faith in God, the same problems facing families today.
