Gilt spine titling. Top edge trimmed, others uncut. Five wood engravings by Peter Barker Mill including a full page frontispiece and four facsimile pages. Published to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the founding of Australia, as a salute from England to the Commonwealth This copy has two bookplates on the front paste-down indicating that it was firstly owned by Elizabeth Greenhill (1907-2007) one of the outstanding designer bookbinders of the 20th century.
