Edward Kearny, NY, 1845, Number 7 (VII) of A Mother s Library For Little Folks, 131 pages plus 9 pages of Lessons for Little Folks (2 lessons) and one unnumbered page with a b&w illustration and another unnumbered page with a list of books published by Kearny in the Mother s Library that numbers to 8, large type font, black and white illustrations throughout with 7 round full page ones in Fido and 5 smaller ones in text including one on the title page and an additional smaller one and three full page ones in the Lessons including the one mentioned above that is on an unnumbered page, red patterned endpapers, 3.75"x 4.5", hardcover, red cloth with gilt titles on front and titles and decorations on spine, blind rules around edges on front and back, covers lightly scuffed, corners bumped and worn, spine ends very worn, light edgewear except on back cover fore-edge which has a 1/2 worn section, all edges gilt but very chipped and worn, soil spotting on front endpapers and first 20 pages and last 10 pages with a few small spots on the edges in between, small light pencil marks front endpaper, former owner's blue ink inscription free front endpaper, first three leaves have a small shallow chip on page fore-edges, one page dog-earred, contents tight, book good (G) 5230 [Ssss1003/0121MA].
