Original engraing from Official account of Captain Cooks First voyage. 20 x 25cm.Uncoloured engraving from the drawing by Sporing, naturalist on Cooks voyage. The engraving was incorrectly titled and the arch was at Mercury Bay. The arch suffered from erosion and eventually collapsed around 1870. A fortied Pah is shown at the peak of the arch.
