A flawless copy: clean, tight, square, and bright. Yet to be read. The slipcase -- is also as new. The paper was made from the daphne bush that grows in the Himalayan Mountain region. A very nicely produced item. ".What is it you have always dreamed of doing but have yet to do? What life-changing challenge is waiting patiently for you to take it up -- to set aside those thousand and one practical arguments for staying on the safe and familiar path? As a husband and wife design partnership, we feel like the luckiest people in the world, to have the opportunity to do something we love, and to love what we do. Yet it was time to take a risk, to create new possibilities in our professional and personal lives. Over a period of three months we drove, flew, cruised and walked across seven countries: Nepal, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Bali, Indonesia. Along with two small travel bags, we took a 35mm camera, sixty rolls of film, three sketchbooks and four journals. We went in search of the 'liminal,' defined as, 'of or relating to a sensory threshold.' What we found was a swirl of new sights, sounds, smells and tastes, where everything was new and nothing could be taken for granted. We were lured by exotic beauty and what we discovered was so much more." -- from the Introduction.
