A very tidy, clean, tight and bright hardback with a clean heavy paper dustwrapper. The covers have two very minor faults - an approx. 3mm length of colour rubbed from the middle of the top spine end, which has a hint of a split in the middle - and - the bottom corners are slightly bruised with a 1/2 cm split on the foredege of the front cover about 1" up from the bottom edge. The hinges are good and there are no owner's inscriptions or foxing on the endpapers.The interior of the book is crisp and clean. The dustwrapper has a slightly faded and browned spine. The top edge has a little rubbing and a small piece ( 8mm long by 4mm deep ) missing from the spine end - this has been internally repaired. The dustwrapper otherwise is crisp, bright and clean.
