Separate chapters have been devoted to define and depict Indo-Islamic architectural innovations in medieval India during Sultanate period and that of regional principalities. This work has discussed at length the blending of two strong cultural currents to be depicted in the form of Indo-Islamic Architecture, in its true spirit. "VOL.3 is well-researched work on Islamic Architecture of the period of great Mughal Emperors of Indian sub-continent is an updated encyclopaedia of its own kind being the third of the three volumes set.
