Encuadernación: No Binding
Condición del libro: Good
Beautiful XVIIIth century Manuscript copy of the Elementa juris naturae et gentium, written by the German lawyer and philosopher Johann Gottlieb Heineccius (1681-1741). Heineccius, also author of the Opera Omnia, a treaty that embraced the whole Law of the time, was the greatest exponent of the Philosophers of Jurists, and brother of the famous preacher and theologian Johann Michael. The treaty is written in a late seventeenth century petite and elegant calligraphy , with 33 lines per page. A very singular curiosity: after a comparison made with the text printed in 1737, chapters and sections are not matching. It might therefore be a reinterpretation of the famous work by an unknown writer. The book was written for Francesco Di Poggio, a member of the powerful family of the Di Poggio di Lucca, as evidenced by written on the cover. Condition Good condition considering the age. Back damaged, paper white and almost perfect. Language: latin Ex - Libris: Francesco di Poggio Format: Quarto Binding: Coeval Cardboard Condition: Good, back lightly damaged Pages: 112. Handwritten pages : 105 White Pages: 12 Manuscript lines per page: 33. N° de ref. de la librería ABE-15267283427
