First Edition Penguin No. 516. Hard to find; this is a solid square copy. The cover, which is slightly foxed, sports the previous owner's surnane (Burgoyne) in ink. Additionally there's a one shilling and two pence stamp (this being the Net Book Agreement standard Penguin price in Ireland at the time). Internally the two staples that reinforced the binding glue are rusty (see photos) . The offered price reflects a genuine scarcity but is of course flexible. N° de ref. del artículo XJ022
