Tan paper facsimile copies of original dime novel publications, each in tan cardstock folder with black lettering. Some bending at the corners of the folders, otherwise in very good condition. Charles Bragin (1891-1974) was a successful auto exporter and avid dime novel collector. In the late 1940's, he founded the "Dime Novel Club". He made facsimile copies of many of the best publications in his collection and delivered them to other dime novel enthusiasts for a fee. The collection offered for sale here contains the following - Facsimile Reprint Numbers 1 through 12, 14 through 23, 25 through 33, 35 through 38. 9 other facsimile reprints not identified by number. Also, 3 original publisher's issues - No. 848 of the Wild West Weekly, published January 17, 1919, "Young Wild West at Sizzling Fork; or, a Hot Time with the Claim Jumpers" by an Old Scout ; No. 754 of Work and Win, published May 16, 1913, "Fred Fearnot in Philadelphia; or, Solving the Schuylkill Mystery" by Hal Standish ; No. 1042 of Pluck and Luck, published May 22, 1918, "Icebound; or, Among the Floes" by Berton Bertrew. Many of the issues include letters from the Dime Novel Club, explaining the history of the stories in the issues, or the club's plans for the future. N° de ref. de la librería 015466
