The dustjacket, however, is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks Near VG. Some very tiny light foxing spots and darkening/toning to the page fore-edges. INTERNALLY EXCELLENT, NO Inscriptions or Marks. Clean, Tight and Bright. (xx) + 424 pp. Illustrated in b/w. Paul Klee. 18 December 1879 - 29 June 1940, was a Swiss-German artist. His highly individual style was influenced by movements in art that included Expressionism, Cubism, and Surrealism. "These 'Diaries' were not originally intended for publication, but merely for Klees' own reflection, and until his death in 1940 they had not even been seen by his own family. They are a marvellous reflection of the individual world of on of the most important artists of the twentieth century. Paul Klee's son Felix has done a wonderful job of bringing his father's genius to us in book form. A 'must-have' for Klee lovers and/or for students, historians/art historians." .
