About the Author:

Paul Freundlich serves on national and international boards and councils concerned with sustainability, including the CERES Coalition and the Stakeholder Council of the Global Reporting Initiative. He is President of the Fair Trade Foundation, the founder and President Emeritus of Green (Co-op) America, former Editor of Communities Magazine, and in 1980, launched Dance New England, a collaborative of dances and dancers that has engaged thousands through its annual summer camp and other events. Paul has made 25 documentary films and videos, and written several books and many essays. He and his wife, Margaret Flinter, live in Higganum, Connecticut.
