Light wear to extremities with minor scuffing at corners and edges. Cloth darkened from age and oxidation. Light soiling overall to surface of cloth. Spine ends slightly crushed with minor fraying and slight loss. Gilt rubbed at spine with abrasions to surface of spine. Fly is improperly folded with non-archival tape repairs. Chipped at edges. Front gutter tender. Bookplate of Maurice Robert Des Marais on front end pastedown. Des Marais was a longtime faculty member in the Department of Architecture at Penn State College of Arts and Architecture and a corporate member of the American Institute of Architects. Old hand ownership on second end page. Textblock has scattered instances of foxing, sometimes moderate with light age staining. Light toning at edges. A few small tears at the margins. Free of known marginalia. All plates present. Binding intact. Mid-gutter tender. Please see photos.
