Manca l'antiporta calcografica, stemma calcografico con le armi del dedicatario al frontespizio, graziosa vignetta calcografica a c. A4v. Le tavole sono incise da Alessandro Angeletti e Tommaso Piroli su disegno dell'autore. Aloni marginali; forellini e segni di tarlo al margine inferiore delle ultime carte; restauro al margine inferiore dell'ultima carta, che tuttavia non comporta la perdita di testo. Frontespizio un po' sporco. Mezza pergamena coeva (?) con tassello e titolo in oro al dorso. Piatti rivestiti con carta marmorizzata. Rara edizione originale di questa importante testimonianza storico-architettonica, riccamente illustrata, sul teatro di Tor di Nona, il maggior teatro pubblico romano, prima della sua distruzione, avvenuta nel 1889. Teatro Tordinona was renamed Teatro Apollo and extensively renovated in the 19th century. Felice Giorgi fu l'architetto pontificio che si occupò della ricostruzione del teatro dopo l'incendio che nel 1781 aveva distrutto la precedente struttura realizzata da Domenico Gregorini. Questo teatro, uno dei capolavori architettonici del tardo Settecento romano, vide le prime rappresentazioni di numerose opere di importanti compositori quali Rossini, Mercadante, Donizetti, Verdi, etc. Catalogo unico, IT\ICCU\SBLE\007871; L.
