Brown, red cloth, hardback book with lovely gilt design on front board and gilt title impressions on the spine. Comes with translucent cover. The books is in really good condition, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. The odd speckle of foxing hardly noticeable. First printed in 1946, this edition was first printed by The Reprint Society Ltd. By arrangement with Jonathan Cape 1952, however this specific book is a third impression October 1953. 320 pages all intact, all pages, text and illustrations are in good, clean, readable order. The book was dedicated to The Librarian and Staff of the national Library of Wales Aberystwyth. Text printed in Great Britain by Richard Clay and Company Ltd, Bungay, Suffolk. Gravure plates by Harrison and Sons Ltd, High Wycombe, Bucks. A fascinating and informative book. N° de ref. del artículo 1292
