Adam Ding, MS, PQS, LEED AP, MCIQS, is a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in planning, estimating and managing a variety of commercial, institutional, residential, heavy/industrial, and sustainable infrastructure projects. He holds a Master's degree in Building Construction from Auburn University, Alabama and a Professional Quantity Surveying diploma from Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. Adam has had a long and successful career in construction industry, working at all stages of project development cycle from planning, design management, estimating, project coordination to operation and maintenance. He is the sole author of a series of popular DeWalt Construction Estimating books covering general contracting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and Excel spreadsheets. As a LEED AP registered with Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC), Adam is a strong advocate for green building movement and personally involved in many sustainable development projects. With an impeccable academic record (e.g. in the recent LEED AP exam, he scored 194 out the 200 maximum points) and a solid track of industry experience, Adam is currently teaching in the new Construction Management degree program in Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Paul Rosenberg has an extensive background in the construction, data, electronic, HVAC and plumbing trades. He is a leading voice in the electrical industry with years of experience from an apprentice to a project manager. Paul has written for all of the leading electrical and low voltage industry magazines and has authored more than 50 books.In addition, he wrote the first standard for the installation of optical cables (ANSI-NEIS-301) and was awarded a patent for a power transmission module. Paul currently serves as contributing editor for Power Outlet Magazine, teaches at Iowa State University and works as a consultant and expert witness in legal cases. He speaks occasionally at industry events.
