Descripción

Blue cloth. 4to. 404pp. Illustrated. No dust jacket. A history of this Connecticut National Guard regiment which fought with the 26th Infantry Division in World War I and then served with the 43rd Infantry Division from 1924 to 1951-52, including World War II and a deployment to West Germany during the Korean War. The book begins with a history of the unit's service during the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. This is followed by an account of its mobilization for World War 1, the battles it fought in, a list of casualties, rosters of officers and enlisted men and much more. The book is well illustrated with many photographs and maps. A good copy with some wear to the spine. The text is good with some scattered light foxing. The front hinge is weak but secure. There is a two-line ink owner's inscription on the flyleaf but no other writing in the book. Foreign postage extra on this heavy book. N° de ref. de la librería 7595
