The 1st trade edition of the 1st limited Arthur Rackham Angler. Derived from the 1897 edition edited by Richard Le Gallienne. via the Bodley Head. the text is derived from the fifth edition 1676 revised by the author. This is a large 4to edition after the limited Rackham. in full gilt green cloth and Rackham end sheets, with many full color plates by Rackham. aside from a damp staining to top of the book and some leaves, a pretty copy. hence the low price. Walton was an English writer of the time and is best known for The Compleat Angler.
