Top and bottom of spine bumped - about 5mm of cloth missing at each. Joint between back cover and spine is splitting. FFEP is annotated. Front inner hinge cracking - repaired with tape. Water damage has caused red ink stains to pages. Water stains to half-title page and reverse of frontispiece. Half-title page has previous owner's inscription. Rear hinge cracked but holding. Occasional light foxing, particularly to illustrations. Contains several colour plates. Binding loose. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 345g.
