Acerca de

Sinopsis:

This is the third book in a trilogy on how to build better communities at a time when authority is still being questioned and self-interest continues to grow. It describes why a new mechanism to set standards of behavior and social attitudes will enhance civility and offers benefits beyond the random, celebrity-driven methods now in use. The book follows a discussion of why grandparents must take a stronger role in community development (Grandparenting) and a look at the pervasiveness of corrupt activity in society that survives the higher fences and additional guards sought by conventional wisdom (Corruption).

About the Author:

Godfrey Harris has been a public policy consultant based in Los Angeles, California, since 1968. He began consulting after brief careers as a university lecturer, U.S. Army intelligence officer, foreign service officer with the Department of State, and organizational specialist in the President’s Executive Office. Both as a political specialist and as a grandparent, he has been involved in observing how the traditions and societal values are transmitted from generation to generation. This is the 38th book he has written or co-authored. He holds degrees from Stanford University and the University of California, Los Angeles.
