Morgan, Henry Morgenthau, etc.) Volume introduced by Walt Whitman's poem "City of Ships." Table of contents lists chapters including a Short History; How to See the City, Street Car and Subway Systems, Sites of Interest, Wall Street, Leading Hotels, Brooklyn Borough, etc. The author writes in his Introduction: "Many readers we know, will thank us for preserving these half forgotten scenes of yesterday and not a few will recall them with affectionate, personal interest."
