5" x 6 1/4", red cloth with color illustrated paste-on plate to front board, with gilt-stamped plate border and titling, black cloth spine, unpaginated [64 pp.], + 16 plates. Scarce, wonderfully-illustrated collection of children's stories, including Puss in Boots, The Frog Prince, and Dick Whittington and His Cat. 16 beautiful color plates by noted illustrator Eulalie [Eulalie Banks, 1895-1999], plus several line drawings, some full-page. Very Good condition: bottom leading corners bumped and worn, some minor soiling/age-toning to boards, a very small tear on the spine cloth, but otherwise excellent; interior is pristine.
