Original edition, 1890. Med. 8vo, circa 9.5 x 6 inches, pp. iv + 4 + 296, hardback with original binding. Book condition - Good +, ex-library with bookplate of Cheltenham Public Library Reference section affixed inside front board, "Withdrawn for sale" stamp on front flyleaf, small lib. stamps to title page and next page, contents clean, no inscriptions in text, no foxing, slight tanning of preliminaries front and back, back inner hinge intact, front inner hinge with some splitting but front board secure ; original grey paper covered boards and purple cloth spine piece with title printed on front, light wear of boards extremities, back is a little tanned and dusty, spine is faded with bit of lossat either end, more so at the base, front board is again a little tanned and dusty but with very clear title.
