Descripción:

Illustrated with black and white photographs by Beaton. Inscribed by Beaton on the front free endpaper: "Best wishes / Cecil Beaton [scroll] / ". Publisher's yellow cloth, lettered in black; with sun darkening to spine and some toning to the spine and board edges, bright and clean interior. Overall, a presentable copy, inscribed by Beaton. Cecil Beaton's New York is a collection of British photographer and designer Cecil Beaton's impressions of New York City. In his preface, Beaton cautions that this text is "more incomplete than any other book on New York" and contains "nothing of history, economics, politics or religion." Rather, Cecil Beaton's New York presents Beaton's visual interpretations of the city by interweaving his striking photographs with a narrative description of the artist's inspirations. Overall, Cecil Beaton's New York provides a unique look at both New York City's urban landscape and Beaton's creative process. Repeat, Inscribed by Author. Enough said of offerings which speak loudly for themselves. Acquire, enjoy, and share what the self-actualized author has discovered in his extensive intellectual travels to prepare this very informative writing for public edification. Experience the pleasure of reading and appreciating this actual printed item of 261 fascinating pages. It has its own physical history that imbues it with a permanent character lacking in transitory electronic renderings. Size: 8vo - (Standard Book Size). N° de ref. de la librería 012380
