First edition, 4to., cross tear to title page neatly repaired, (no text loss), some fraying, trifle dusty, minor waterstain, (4) 28 pp., disbound. Corbet Owen (1646-1671), Latin Poet, Scholar of Christ Church, Oxford (described as a strange student), later studied medicine, but died shortly after qualifying. A long, very artificial and confused poem in Latin verse, chiefly in irregular metres imitating Pindar's Odes. Strange words and phrases are employed, with a weird use of italics.
