Book condition: fair, text in French, very scarce journal of the French surgeon, number 37 of 100 printed, includes original watercolor plate of the Bombardement de Tanger, b/w illustrations and maps throughout along with red ink illustrations, bound in red leatherette with gilt lettering on front, front cover detached but included, shows some white tape residue at upper left, 2.5 inch tear to top of back spine, scuffing to spine edges, some play to first few signatures, interior very clean, 209 pages with table of contents and list of illustrations, 10 X 13 inches.
