Descripción

U. S. Service Series; Autograph; Inscribed and SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR on ffep. Provocative inscription from the author reads: "Ug, he said, looking me in the eye! That was my introduction to George Wheeler - who really was the instigator of this book; his years with his wife (a genuine aborigine, whose life at Vassar gave a strange twinge to George's attitude towards thugs) and her kinsfolk - several of whom spoke a patois of English .-- / With Love, / Brig. G. F. R.-Wheeler" Contents clean and tight, light blue pictorial cloth binding has some wear at spine ends and some faint staning at lower corner of front cover. Still a very nice book with important association inscription by the author. ; Signed by Author; Experience the pleasure of reading and appreciating this actual printed item. It has its own physical history that imbues it with a character lacking in ephemeral electronic renderings. N° de ref. de la librería 38840
