Crown8vo, Collation: A-dd; a-k4. [442]; 76, [4] p. Black cathedral style full calf (possibly Irish), five raised bands, double rectangular gilt design to both boards, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, red and black title with double black line surround, running titles in red as are some verses and names throughout, some woodcut capitals. One fore-corner peeping, small, 8mm diameter, hole in the calf of the lower board fore-edge, title page detached with minor frays to the gutter and bottom edge not affecting either the title or the Contents list on the verso, k2, k3 and k4 partly detached with the fore-edge of k2 and k3 versos losing several first letters on k2 and 10 letters (P, Ps, Psa) on k3, k4 recto has fraying to the gutter edge with loss of only one letter, k4 verso has a 20 x 20mm adhesion obliterating part of six lines otherwise a good copy of a scarce Dublin printed Book of Common Prayer. The full titles are: The Book of Common Prayer, and Administration of the Sacraments, and other Rites and Ceremonies of the Church, According to the USE of the Church of Ireland; Together with the Psalter or Psalms of David, Pointed as they are to be Sung or Said in Churches.
