Original transcript for a 1974 two-part television series of "Bill Moyers Journal," a current affairs program that discussed economics, history, literature, religion, politics, and more, produced, written, and hosted by Bill Moyers. This two-part series featured Moyers' conversation with Lillian Hellman, where they discuss art, Hellman's plays, her regrets, Ernest Hemingway and other writers, and her "silent angers."The "Journal" began in 1972 and was aired until 1976 by PBS (Public Broadcastin Service). The program took a three-year hiatus and returned in 1979, announcing a newer, more in-depth coverage of current and controversial topics, including presidential elections and documentary footage, and quit airing for the second time, in 1981. Moyers would host a third installment of the "Journal" from 2007 to 2010, finally calling it quits with a 90-minute finale. Title pages integral with first page of text for each "part." "Part I" (3 leaves) noted as "Lillian Hellman--Part I," dated February 26, 1974, and "Part II" (8 leaves) noted as "A Conversation with Lillian Hellman - Part II," dated April 9, 1974. Corner-stitched, mechanically reproduced, printed on rectos and versos. Near Fine overall. N° de ref. de la librería 129407
