Congregation Solel, Highland Park, Illinois, 1968. First American Edition. First Published in Germany in 1963. Bertha Pappenheim (February 27, 1859 - May 28, 1936) was an Austrian-Jewish feminist, a social pioneer, and the Founder of the Jüdischer Frauenbund (League of Jewish Women). Under the pseudonym Anna O., she was also one of Josef Breuer's best documented patients because of Freud's writing on Breuer's case. A very rare book this copy is in Very Good condition. It's a Soft cover with 102 pages including 6 full page B&W photographs. All the pages are Very clean. No soiling, No writing, No creases or tears. There is a stamped ownership name at the top right corner of the first page which is the title page. There are no other markings. This is also a very well-bound book. The covers are a little sun darkened around the stapled spine and there are a couple of spots of light soiling. See the photos provided. N° de ref. de la librería
