Descripción

"There is a high demand for traditional Nuevo Mexicano stories but none of the collections now available makes any attempt to highlight storytelling as the interactive creative process that it truly is. None of them us much about the storytellers and their role as culture0bearers in the family and community. Don Usner has the literary talent and the sociolinguistic sophistication to capture this elusive but most basic performance aspect of the cuentos. I can think of no better or more qualified writer to guide us through this most neglected aspect of the Nuevo Mexicano narrative tradition." {Enrique R. Lamadrid}. This book has 153 pages and is illustrated throughout. The book is a SIGNED copy from the author Don J. Usner and the translator Carole Usner-Hunt. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
