Descripción

Unfortunately this printing of "Back to Billabong" (the seventh title in the prolific series) is not dated. An ink gift inscription on the FFEP carries the date 25/12/45, but the production style of the book points to a publication c. late 1920s/early '30s. "Back to Billabong"was first published in 1919. The green hard covers have an illustration of a mounted rider speaking to a young woman. This scene is repeated on the b/w art frontis with the caption ---"Races!" said Tommy. "But what frivolity. Why, I'm bottling apricots." Tommy is not the rider, but the young woman. The frontis is the only illustration. 252 pages followed by four pages adverts for other Ward, Lock books. The green hard covers are VG with the spine titles lightly faded, extremities bruised and corners lightly bumped. Ink gift inscription top FFEP, text block otherwise excellent and firm within the covers. N° de ref. de la librería 003817
